Have you ever had trouble sleeping because you can’t get a nagging question out of your head?

Imagine, for a moment, that you’re planning a vacation in Hawaii, and you stayed up late looking at pictures of Hawaiian sea turtles. “I wonder how long they can hold their breath?” you ask yourself. Suddenly, it’s 3 a.m., you haven’t slept a wink and you can’t stop thinking about how those damned turtles stay underwater so long.

So you wake up and call Domino’s Pizza for answers — and then get mad when the pizza guy tells you to Google it.

You’d feel pretty dumb, right? But hey, it’s all good. It’s not like you’re the president of the United States!

See where this is going?

Yes, THIS HAPPENED, according to the Huffington Post. Donald Trump — our actual POTUS in the year 2017 — phoned his National Security Adviser Mike Flynn at 3 a.m. to ask whether a strong dollar is good for the economy.

Yes. Really.

Donald Trump didn’t know whether a strong dollar was better than a weak dollar.

And he sought answers not from an economist, but from a guy whose background is in military intelligence.

At 3 a.m.

This trifecta of late-night stupidity doesn’t seem to be an anomaly though. White House sources have connected anonymously with several media outlets to voice their concerns about Trump’s erratic behavior. The New York Times reported that Trump spends his nights wandering the White House in his bathrobe and watching cable news. Twitter accounts purportedly created by rogue insiders warn of a volatile president who comes unglued over mild criticism.

Don’t plan on these antics ending. Trump hasn’t even hit his one-month mark.

Yes, this is happening.
